“Swiftboating”: The New Gaff

Michael Kinsley once defined a gaff as a politician inadvertently telling the truth. Now that John Murtha has joined his fellow John, John Kerry, in calling criticism “swiftboating,” [HatTip to The Influence Peddler] perhaps we should add a new definition to the political dictionary:

Swiftboat: Verb [transitive]. To tell the truth, with supporting documents, about a political opponent.

Why not submit your definition to the slang dictionary urbandictionary.com? That’s what I use to decipher neologisms.(BTW I think the preferred spelling is gaffe).
