Catastrophes Bad For Blacks … And Other People Of Color

“Global Warming Could Spell Disaster for Blacks.”

That’s the headline of a recent article (HatTip to my friend Mychal Massie) warning that

unless the United States gets real about the threat of global warming, African Americans and other people of color can expect a repeat of disasters like Katrina.

I suppose it’s reassuring that those of us who are people of no, or little, color have nothing, or at least less, to fear. As for me, I’m happy to add natural disasters to nuclear war and declare them both unconstitutional because they would have a disparate impact on women and minorities and, of course, kids.
