A new study published by the National Bureau of Economic Research reports that blacks and Hispanics who get good grades are considerably less popular among their peers than those who don’t. The reverse is true for whites.

My liberal buds are always shrieking about the selfishness of conservatives, and how they refuse to spend more money on our schools. Will someone please let me know how more money will correct this difficulty? And, if you agree with
Culture of success vs. culture of failure. One group rewards success and the other rewards failure, in academia. The end result is predictable on a societal scale.
Change the reward structure and the culture will change. That is a task for culture-czars in the popular media. If the culture-czars fail to act the dysfunctional culture stays dysfunctional.
