Ward Connerly v. Eleanor Holmes Norton

For those of you who missed their appearance on CNN’s “Crossfire,” here is the transcript of Ward Connerly and Eleanor Holmes Norton disagreeing about affirmative action.

It’s not bad, at least for “Crossfire.” Just ignore the repeated references to the “Bocky” case and enjoy such ripostes as Paul Begala, replying to Connerly’s assertion that only diversity of thought is valuable, exclaiming:

Well, Mr. Connerly, though, diversity of thought is sort of an ephemeral thing. I don’t know how we can have a thought police to check that.

He obviously has no problem with a race police.

Say What?
