You, or at least I, couldn’t make this stuff up. White House spokesman Jay Carney says it’s a Good Thing Obamacare will reduce the workforce by the equivalent of 2.5 million jobs by allowing workers to choose not to work, thanks to the generosity of other taxpayers who will subsidize their retirement in the form of health care subsidies and other government benefits.
Carney:
Over the longer run, CBO finds that because of this law, individuals will be empowered to make choices about their own lives and livelihoods…. [A]s part of this new day in health care, Americans [will] no longer be trapped in a job just to provide coverage for their families, and would have the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Obamian employer of the present and future to former employee: “I didn’t fire you. I liberated you to pursue your dreams.”
Apparently in response to the “numbers” folk in response to unsatisfactory National response to “You didn’t build that”.
