I have a piece on Pajamas Media today, “Professor Capehart Lectures Rep. Paul Ryan,” discussing the attempt of Jonathan Capehart, the Washington Post‘s and MSNBC’s young black opinionator, to inform Rep. Paul Ryan about nature, causes, and cures of inner city black life.

Wow! This j’accuse, camouflaged in “open letter” clothing stuff is getting waaaaay too much credibility lately.
I see no problem, in light of missing “forum”, to simply refuse to spend valuable, hard earned, assets in responding to oft discredited “theses”, YET AGAIN!
I propose the traditional response to “hyphenated” accusations from the traditionally educated MSNBC corral.
A simple “Shut up MEG.” will do.
“No Response” would be more civil I suppose.
One could reply to the professor:
1) Many groups suffered from discriminatory housing policies in cities (Asians, Jews, and the Irish, for example). Not all of those groups are so economically disadvantaged. What explains the difference in outcomes?
2) Many Hispanics have only arrived recently in American cities, decades after the worst discriminatory housing practices. How do we trace their outcomes to the discriminatory practices of the distant past?
