Historians Begin To Gild Obama’s Reputation

Politico invited “ten leading historians” to write a paragraph assessing “Obama’s rank in the pantheon of American presidents.” (Some might think such an assessment a bit premature; it’s as though Politico and all its invitees assume nothing noteworthy will occur in Obama’s remaining three years in office.)

I assess their assessments (actually, assessment, since they all say virtually the same thing and ignore the same things) on Pajamas Media this morning, here.

SO are the assessments based on what has been proposed on the eternal campaign trail, or…you know,…the little more he would actually do AFTER the election?

I hope these historians are considering the history of The President’s appointees, and heads-of-departments under his executive position, as well.
