Where Were You, Mr. President, At 10:00PM On Sept. 11?

Mark up, or down, another failure of the Obama administration: it has failed to sweep its Benghazi Bungle under the rug until after the election. According to an important column by David Ignatius in the Washington Post today, Fox News and conservative online media have “raised some questions about the attack that deserve a clearer answer from the Obama administration,” answers that “must” be provided now, before the election.

Read the column for a short list of those questions. There are also many important questions not on Ignatius’s list, and here’s one of mine: What were you doing, Mr. President, around 10:00PM on Sept. 11? Already in bed? Having a late evening cocktail? Packing for your fundraising trip the next morning to Las Vegas and then Colorado?

It was about that time, 4:00AM in Libya, that Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were killed on the roof of the CIA Annex. Woods had given away his position by painting the mortar attacking them with a laser that would have allowed a gun ship to take it out, a gun ship that he assumed his commanders, determined as he expected them to be to leave no one behind, would have sent. Since the president had met with the Secretary of Defense at 5:00PM, there was plenty of time for that gun ship to have arrived on the scene. It was never sent.

On the morning of Sept. 12 when the president got up, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, Ambassador Steves, and one other American were dead. The president cancelled his intelligence briefing and, after a short stop to offer condolences at the State Dept., went ahead on his fundraising trip to Las Vegas.

I can safely assume that President Obama was NOT siting in a classroom reading “My Pet Goat” while nearly THREE THOUSAND Americans were being killed on our soil.

So Obama cancelled his regularly scheduled intelligence briefing? Of course, ‘plausible deniability’. “I knew nothing about it…” – Obama’s version of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. So what if we lost an ambassador and three other diplomats? After all, they were white, and Obama and his wife have made their derision for whites very plain. And it would look bad for Obama’s campaign speeches to be proven wrong, that the war wasn’t really over.

So, Obama “derided” his own mother and grandparents (White people), and Michelle “derides” her own sister-in-law?

    Really?

Your posts are exhibit A as to why the Republican party got their clocks cleaned last night in the elections, and why they will go the way of the Whig Party within 20 years.
