John Kerry (you remember him; he served in Vietnam) calling voters too dumb to appreciate Democrats brings to mind the old warning to people who live in glass houses.
Yesterday, according to the Boston Herald article linked above, Kerry “blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing” in the midterm elections. “I think a lot of the anger,” he said, “is not directed at the right people.”
He also said:
We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening
Do you think he was referring to the people who voted for “Hope” and “Change”?
