Say What?
It's not just evangelical Christians who are rare in newsrooms: Religiously believers are under-represented. In my newspaper years, I frequently saw journalists have trouble understanding the motivations of religious believers. They're not all Elmer Gantry.

How right you are. There are precious few evangelicals in the MSM. My daughter happens to be one of them. The glaring biblical/Christian illiteracy of even big-name "illuminati" MSM was in evidence a couple years ago when Newsweek misunderstood the late Jerry Falwell's comment about the Liberty University debate team being "a salt ministry" (as in "you are the salt of the earth"). It came out as "an assault ministry." Hilarious, but also sad.
