Race War II
About two weeks ago I noted (following Drudge) the prediction of Fatimah Ali, Obamanut and Philadelphia Daily News columnist, that
[i]f McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war, fueled by a deflated and depressed country, soaring crime, homelessness — and hopelessness! Now she’s back, standing by her prediction, which, however, has become “metaphorical,” whatever that may mean in this context.
I stand by the column - but after all of that backlash, I realize I was dead wrong. We don’t have to wait until after the election for a race war. We’re in one now.Is it too early to suggest that Obama’s more energetic backers are attempting to do to American voters what Jesse Jackson has for years done to American companies?I know that putting the words “race” and “war” together is like hurling an incendiary device. But I wasn’t issuing a call to arms, it was a metaphorical prediction.
Say What?
People should realize that while liberals will implicitly offer this trade (elect Obama and we'll agree America isn't racist) they will renege if Obama wins office. Liberals simply cannot give up their accusation that America generally is racist. This is their primary recruiting mechanism, and their primary demonization tool. It takes decades of life experience for intelligent people to realize how wrong they are. That's decades of liberal voting they must have.

"I know that putting the words “race” and “war” together is like hurling an incendiary device. But I wasn’t issuing a call to arms, it was a metaphorical prediction."
What is the difference between these staements and other "fighting words" that have been banned?

Ridiculous scare tactics by the likes of Ali. If they want to have a race war then, in the immortal words of George W. Bush, "Bring it ON!"
I would love to see the left-wing go freaking ballistic over their guy losing the election. It would show the country what these nuts are really made of once and for all.
If you've really got guts, Ali, start your scary race war -- you'll have your chance in just under 7 weeks. But I don't think you've got the guts.
