Discriminations

I mentioned recently that I’m traveling around California for a while and thus blogging may be lighter than usual. Yesterday and today I’ve been attending a small gathering Ward Connerly convenes every summer at the Reagan Library, and it’s been interesting, as usual. Anyone observing the conversations would quickly realize that all ostensible conservatives don’t agree about a lot of things, some of them intensely.

One of the high points of this summer’s meeting is that I have finally gotten to meet super-blogger La Shawn Barber, and I’m happy, though not surprised, to report that she is as charming and intelligent in person as she is on her blog.
