Is the Bill O’Reilly Show going to be a “hostile media environment” for Jennifer Gratz of the MCRI?

    I wonder…hmmm…

    >>>”From the May 16 edition of Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor:

O’REILLY: Now in 1986, President Reagan thought he could solve the [immigration] problem by granting about 3 million illegal aliens amnesty. The New York Times was in heaven, editorializing back then, quote, “The new law won’t work miracles but it will induce most employers to pay attention, to turn off the magnets, to slow the tide.” Of course, just the opposite happened. But the Times hasn’t learned a thing. That’s because the newspaper and many far-left thinkers believe the WHITE POWER STRUCTURE that controls America is bad, so a drastic change is needed.

According to the lefty zealots, the WHITE CHRISTIANS WHO HOLD POWER must be swept out by a new multicultural tide, a rainbow coalition, if you will. This can only happen if demographics change in America.

An open-border policy and the legalization of millions of Hispanic illegal aliens would deeply affect the political landscape in America. That’s what The New York Times and many others on the left want. They might get it. And that’s the “Memo.”

From the April 11 edition of Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor:

    >>>”O’REILLY: All right. There you go. White privilege. The browning of America. There it is. There it is. Bottom line on this? That’s what it is. Change the complexion of America. Have an open border where Hispanics, people who live in the Caribbean, people who live in Africa and Asia can walk in and become citizens immediately. And there you have the white power structure would decline, of course. Because the numbers of people coming here would be people of color. Right? That’s the hidden agenda.

See, nobody’ll say that. Nobody’ll say it. That’s what it’s all about. It’s all about that on both sides, too. Because you have some white people saying, “I don’t want to live in a country that has people of color in the majority.”

For those of you who think these are misquotes from a left-wing kook site, you’ll find the corresponding video clip to both of these quotes at the link.

That being said, I highly doubt Jennifer Gratz will face any more of a “hostile media experience” endorsing the white male advocacy scheme that is the MCRI on “The O’Reilly Factor” than one would see in a Brit Hume/Dick Cheney sitdown.

It does make one wonder, however, why Jennifer Gratz was a no-show on THIS program, where the panel discussion probably wouldn’t have been as warm and fuzzy.

    >>>”The Hate Next Door, the newest installment of the long-running, award-winning series Michigan At Risk, airs statewide Tuesday, June 27, at 8 p.m., on Michigan’s Public Television Stations – check local listings for time and date.

The Hate Next Door looks at race relations in the state, and asks whether or not we as citizens are losing ground in the effort set forth by the Civil Rights Movement not so long ago. The program also looks back on the history of race in Michigan and many watershed events, such as when Detroit exploded with racially motivated riots in 1967.

Written by award-winning producer Christopher Cook, the 30-minute field documentary explores many of the issues within several current stories and events that have occurred throughout the state.

Following the documentary, series host Tim Skubick moderates a panel discussion to further explore racism, prejudice, and ethnic intimidation in Michigan. Scheduled panel participants include Ozzie Rivera from Madonna University, Bill Martin of the Michigan Association of Realtors, Kelvin Scott from the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, and Jennifer Gratz of the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative.”

There’s a video option at the above link, so those curious can watch this timely documentary, and receive an alternative viewpoint to what will waft through the cable lines for 10 minutes on 10/19.

Was the Civil Rights Act of 1964 a “racial and religious minority advocacy scheme”? Hyperbole isn’t going to win you many converts. I hope you are less crabby when the election is over.
