Chetly Zarko, a frequent (and insightful) commenter here, has posted some fascinating bits of strange goings on in Michigan on his blog; go here and scroll down.
Among them:
• critics of MCRI, who tried unsuccessfully to claim that MCRI supporters have engaged in “fraud” (for example, describing a measure that bar discrimination as a civil rights measure), have been fined for financial irregularities;
• the Michigan Democratic party supports reparations to blacks [Perhaps they could claim that racial preferences are reparations…];
• one of the least diverse groups of people you can find in Michigan is the admissions staff at the University of Michigan: 11 women, 1 male (the receptionist), no white males.
Consider this a manual trackback:

Now correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t such racial and gender disparities constitute prima facie evidence of discrimination under employment discrimination law?
