“Fascism Of The Left”

I recently referred to the “storm-trooper tactics” of those opposing equal rights in Michigan. Now comes Thomas Bray, Detroit News columnist, noting that “Fascism on the Left on Display in Michigan.”

… no sooner had the meeting started than a mob of mostly black students from Detroit schools, led by a radical national outfit calling itself By Any Means Necessary (BAMN), stormed the building, overturning tables, jumping on chairs, stomping their feet and yelling

    what happened to the people who invaded the meeting? were they shot? where their families imprisoned? as they go on their merry way, will they ever realize what freedom they have? I’m sure every single BAM member thinks that islamic countries or china or cuba has more human rights than they do. I’m sure they think that the US is the same as Nazi germany.

    I agree with Bray’s conclusion that tactics like this will only backfire on BAMN and other opponents of MCRI. The court has already spoken on the legality of the initiative; it will be on the ballot; and many Michigan voters, appalled by the intimidation tactics of BAMN and supporters, will vote overwhelmingly in favor.
