The trouble with you John is that you are being too logical. You must be more like Humpty Dumpty in Alice in wonderland:

‘When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

By the way, how come most of the actors on Univision don’t have brown skin?

We need to get after this racist organization.

How much respect would a white group called “The United Race” ever get? How much access to political figures?

To answer your question, I could point you to a group like:

    The Council of Conservative Citizens

    http://www.cofcc.org/

And the long and growing list of mostly Republican politicians and officials they have “access” to.

Probably for the same reason most of the actors and actresses on English language television don’t. Go figure, huh?

Cobra, that is an unexpectedly good comment! Unfortunately, it is rearward looking (as Mr. Barone has pointed out elsewhere). Access to the water should be free to all nowadays, with no special buses, parking and fenced-off areas for anyone. Well, OK, maybe the government could stock the lake with fingerlings. They could sell the fish delivery vans and fire the drivers to raise funds for this purpose.

What Medellin really means is that you should support liberal candidates who are Latino just because they are Latino, but you shouldn’t support conservative candidates who are Latino, because they are conservative.

After all, any Latino who takes a conservative position MUST be either a crook or seriously mentally ill, right Mr. Medellin?

I put up with this level of b*llsh*t all of my life growing up in San Antonio. San Antonio was over 65% hispanic then, and there are even more now. But still, the hispanics are a ‘minority’, and cry out for special privileges. It’s just like Detroit – the inmates are in charge of the assylum, and they’re complaining about their living conditions.

Like a lot of whites, I’ve about had my fill of this ‘victim’ racket. I used to support liberal positions, including affirmative action. Then I realized that what these people want isn’t equal rights; they want special privilege, merely for the happenstances of their birth. No way, not any more. They can get off their dead b*tts and work for it, same as the rest of us. And if they don’t get it, then it’s their own d*mn fault. No more sympathy, no more handouts. I’m happy to stand back and watch them go to h*ll in their own handbasket – let the whiners reap what they sow, and good riddance.

I won’t lift a hand against them, but I won’t be an enabler of their ‘victim’ game any more. And I will stand proudly and defend my decision to the Lord in the afterlife.
