A reader sends word of this column about atrocious bullying behavior by a sociology professor (“Well, what do you expect?” I can already hear some sociology critics asking) at Colorado State University. Fortunately, he picked the wrong victim.

ironically one of dr. helmericks’ few publications was in a pedagogy journal.
Didn’t he understand that she’s been through weapons training? Pissing off a woman who knows how to use an M16 might be a dumb thing to do.
I suggested to the columnist that he ask the question publicly and stand by to publish the reply–or a weekly announcement of non-reply.
Letter wouldn’t cut it for me, apology to not only that class but all his others.

His behavior aside, do you really think this, or this observation, is a solution? Personally I think this is every bit as scary as the behavior of the teacher (which I’m not addressing this post BTW).
