More Brown Watch

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) has announced that it is joining the May 15 march in Washington organized by BAMN “to realize the unfulfilled promise of Brown v. Board of Education.”

What is that “unfulfilled promise”? Well, according to the SEIU, it will be coming to Washington “to march against segregation, in defense of affirmative action, and for the right of Latino, Asian, and other immigrant youth to receive equal educational opportunities.”

Who knew Brown was so all-inclusive?

The SEIU announcement implies that Latino, Asian, and other immigrant youth haven’t received equal educational opportunites, yet doesn’t offer any details.

I’m glad I found this blog. I wrote about the unconstitutionality of the Brown decision about two weeks ago on my blog. Not only was it decided improperly, I think the Court’s rationale is “racist”: black children feel bad about themselves and can’t learn unless they’re sitting next to little white children.
