A Rousing Good Protest

In D.C., a Diverse Mix Rouses War Protest

So says the headline of an article in today’s Washington Post about a rally against the war yesterday.

Rouses?

But they were “diverse,” which the WaPo obviously regards as important in an anti-war rally, so it must have been a good rouse.

Speaking about media bias, if you read the article you will notice that not once do the reporters explain what type of organization ANSWER is. They state what the acronym stands for and they report exactly what the demonstrators said without any editorial comment.

So what’s the problem, you may ask. Isn’t that the way a news article is supposed to be written? You could certainly argue that that should be the case. However, at the end of the article the reporters mention that there was a counter demonstration that was coordinated by the D.C. chapter of the Free Republic, a national conservative group.

So who is now willing to argue that there is no liberal bias in the newspapers?

They’re protesting the War of the Rouses. Which I agree should End Now!
