At one of his recent attempts to restablish contact with his constitutents Gray Davis said that in the future “I’m not going to leave people out of the equation.” (Link via Drudge)
I’m sure the people will be glad to hear that. Some of them, however, are from strange places and may have trouble understanding. When asked to explain his “vision for the state,” Davis replied:
“My vision is to make the most diverse state on earth, and we have people from every planet on the earth in this state. We have the sons and daughters of every, of people from every planet, of every country on earth,” he said.
And they said Jerry Brown was Governor Moonbeam….
Whew, that was laugh-out-loud funny. “Every planet on the Earth…” I’ll have to remember that one for a sign at the next Sharpton rally. Good stuff.
He sees alien people! And he wants to give them drivers’ licenses.
Tell me about it. He wasn’t being recalled (alas, it’s on hold) for nothing, you know.

It reminds me of Hillary’s vow to start seeing the woman who cleaned the bathrooms in the building where she worked as a human being.
This is one of the funnier comments I’ve seen regarding this joke of a recall. If Grey Davis isn’t afraid of facing a recall, why is it that he’s fighting it in court, trying to drag things out?
