Does your day need a little randomness? Apparently CNN thinks so. This chioce bit of information was tacked onto the end of an article about today’s storm:
In New York’s Central Park, 30 women stripped off their clothes for peace, lying naked in the snow and using their bodies to spell out slogans opposing a war with Iraq, the AP reported.
“This was exhilarating,” said Heidi Cuppari, who owns a pet supply company. “I was thinking about all the people who are going to be in war in hellish situations, and I thought I could take a little snow.”
Apparently protesters are now considered weather conditions “Looks like we’ll get several inches of snow by tonight, and there’s a 70% chance of scattered protesters late this afternoon.” Right.
