The Alameda (California) Times-Star has an interesting article today (subhead: “Color-blind Raiders Put NFL to Shame”) about “diversity,” or lack of it, in the NFL.
Best line honors go to Commissioner Tagliabue:
“We are going to have color-blind hiring practices,” the commissioner said. “But more than that, we’re going to continue to have, as we have had for a number of years, affirmative outreach efforts to identify talent, to train talent and to produce new talent in front office and coaching positions.”
